Fun with Jane: Pom pom bunting

During the holidays, we had some great play dates at which we made metres and metres of glorious pom pom bunting. This was a popular craft project with the girls and appealed to all primary school-age children. Completed bunting can be a nice decoration for a child's bedroom, or it can be used for a special occasion. We are pom pom bonkers in our house at the moment. We loved our crafting companions and are planning more projects over the winter months. Marvellous fun.

What you'll need

Pom poms.

Needle and cotton.

Where you'll get it

You can pick up your pom poms at the $2 Shop, or Spotlight - they had the big bag that we have been crafting from.

Needle and cotton - your cupboard.

How to make it

Thread a needle with cotton (double thread) and make it as long as you want your bunting to be.

Pierce a pom pom with your needle and push down the cotton thread as far as you want the pom pom to go - the pom pom should stay in place easily. Repeat.

Once you have your string loaded up with pom poms - all done! You have your beautiful bunting ready to adorn a treasure or a bedroom.
