It's called the shundar dancing top. The name comes from part of the word "sundarban" (shundar meaning beautiful), which is a jungle that is partly in Indian territory and where I have drawn inspiration from for the collection. It's in an iridescent colour that is great to wear. The fabric is a beautiful silk cotton jacquard, and it's comfortably oversized, but the ruffle at the hem makes it feel a little more special. Also, the back neck-tie has little bells attached that twinkle when I walk around.
What did your school report card say?
Towards the end of high school, attendance was an issue in any subject that wasn't art-related, but other than that my report cards were pretty good. Aside from the social awkwardness of being a teenager, I would love to go back to school - I really, really love learning. And learning for the sake of learning is such a luxury.
If you were a mastermind, what would your specialist topic be?
If I could make up a new segment called "making beautiful colour combinations" I would nail it.
