This might seem like an odd time of year to think about sunglasses. But even on an overcast day, most people reach for their sunnies at least a couple of times.
Lots of the styles available now will add a burst of colour to a dreary autumn - and agreat way to have fun with your outfits.
Play around with different styles when you're choosing your next pair of sunglasses. The shape of your frames can really change the look of your face.
Some styles to consider:
CAT'S EYE: A timeless style that never seems to go out of fashion, and for good reason. They suit almost any face shape and can actually make your face look slimmer. Reach for a pair of cat's eye sunglasses to match with a full-skirted dress for 1950s glamour, or pair with jeans and a loose-fitted top for effortless weekend cool. If you're going for one of the exaggerated styles around at the moment, wear your glasses with a bright red lipstick or winged eyeliner (L'Oreal superliner is a lifesaver if you've battled with liquid eyeliner) for a complete look.
ROUND: Round sunglasses are iconic and everyone from Beyonce to Miley Cyrus have been spotted wearing them. But they can be really hard to pull off. They have a kind of retro feel, so try to match them with a modern outfit, to avoid looking like you've stepped off the set of a Black Sabbath video. Round sunglasses can't help but make a statement, so keep the rest of your accessories to a minimum. Stay away from round glasses if you have a round face. If you're not quite brave enough to go the full circle, opt for oval glasses to soften a square face.
SQUARE: Another classic style, straight frames will make your face look wider. So steer well clear of them if you have a strong jaw. However, they can balance out rounded cheeks and have a slimming effect on round faces. Look for graduated lenses that are more transparent at the bottom, to break up the look a little bit.
