You don't have to be of retirement age to enjoy this wonderful journey to India.

Featuring some of the greats of the British film industry, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel tells the touching story of a group of retirees who seek a new start on the subcontinent.

The group - which includes Evelyn Greenslade (Judi Dench), Graham Dashwood (Tom Wilkinson), Douglas Ainslie (Bill Nighy), Jean Ainslie (Penelope Wilton), Norman Cousins (Ronald Pickup) and Muriel Donnelly (Maggie Smith) - are all leaving behind unhappy pasts as they seek answers in their new exotic home.

They have been promised a resort-like escape from the madness of Indian life around them but instead discover a hotel well past its best.

At its helm is Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel, who plays hotel manager Sonny Kapoor.

He has visions of grandeur but his dreams don't match the reality of the situation.

While the hotel is the focal point of everyone's story, each walks their own path looking for answers, peace or a new beginning.

Some embrace the colour and wonder of India, others use the hotel to hide from the outside world.

The outstanding cast delivers a wonderful adventure filled with laughs, tears, drama and disappointment.
