It's a classic story - boy meets girl, boy's best mate meets the same girl, boys fight for girl.

Except that this time around the two boys are secret agents with the skill set to do some real damage to people they don't like.

Lauren (Reese Witherspoon) is a lovely young woman who is always too busy to meet the right guy.

When her profile is put on to a dating website, it makes an instant hit with CIA operative Tuck (Tom Hardy), a real catch but not too successful with the ladies.

When his spy partner, FDR Foster (Chris Pine), also stumbles across Lauren, he is intrigued by the feisty girl and is determined to make her his own.

And so the fun begins.

The boys decide to compete for the prize, agreeing to both date Lauren and let her decide who is the one for her.

They agree to play fair and not to interfere with each other's outings with Lauren.

Fortunately for us, they don't exactly play by the rules.

Using the very latest spy gadgetry, they track, trail and listen in on every move and if there is the need, they sabotage the date.

You are left wondering if either will survive long enough to win over Lauren.

Complicating matters is an angry bad guy who the boys upset on their last spy mission.

He is looking for revenge and is closing in on them.

If only their focus was on the ruthless Heinrich (Til Schweiger) and not on wooing Lauren.

This Means War

is a fun romp with great action and good humour throughout.
