It's time to see your childhood toy come alive.

It's time to see your childhood toy come alive.

Sometimes it's not just the kids who want to see a children's movie.

For all of us who have played passionately with our Lego over the years, now it's time to see it all come alive.

We get to visit the Lego universe where everything is awesome. And showing the way is our unpretentious hero: a construction worker called Emmet (voiced by Chris Pratt).

Emmet is happy with his life, in a simple way, and religiously follows all the rules, every day.

That is until he is identified as the "special", the one Lego piece who can save the universe from President Business (Will Ferrell) and his evil plans. Forced to go on the run from government forces, he teams up with the likes of Wyldstyle and her boyfriend Batman, Superman, the Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Gandalf and a weird little creature named Unikitty. Now the real fun begins.

With the voices of Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Elizabeth Banks, Chris Pratt, Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill and Shaquille O'Neal, The Lego Movie is great entertainment for all ages.

It's bright, creative and funny, and even a little emotional at times. And it sends a great message of good triumphing over evil.
