Nothing is deep and meaningful about The Internship.

You are just going to have to settle for laughs and entertainment.

Two of the kings of comedy - Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson - deliver their light-hearted magic.

Billy McMahon (Vaughn) and Nick Campbell (Wilson) are two salesmen who watch as the digital age passes them by.

When their company closes down and leaves them on the scrapheap, they stumble across an opportunity at internet giant Google.

If they can use their creative salesmanship well enough, they may be able to secure a spot in an internship programme at Google.

The problem is, the pair know nothing about computers. Somehow, they manage to get into the programme, only to face a gruelling test of computer abilities and ingenuity if they want to secure a full-time position.

Teamed with four young whizz-kids, there's little hope the two men will be able to do well enough in the challenges to win the jobs.

However, what Billy and Nick lack in technical skills, they more than make up for in life skills and they soon manage to turn their rag-tag team of misfits into a cohesive group on a mission.

The two men must work hard on improving their computer and programming knowledge, while also inspiring their teammates to come up with the correct solutions.

Wilson and Vaughn have built wonderful rapport in previous on-screen collaborations and that magic is alive and well in The Internship.
