Kath (Jane Turner), husband Kel (Glenn Robbins), daughter Kim (Gina Riley) and friend Sharon (Magda Szubanski) have had plenty of excitement over the years in their cringeworthy ways.
Let's just say class isn't the word they live their lives by.
In this adventure, Kath wins a trip to Italy and when Kel's fear of flying rules him out, she decides to take Kim and Sharon along for company.
But it doesn't all go to plan. The glorious village and hotel they should be visiting are a far cry from what was promised.
Without a bed for the night, the ladies are invited into a castle by a seemingly hospitable prince.
But he has other motives and sees the women as wealthy tourists who can help him out of his financial difficulties.
The fun and games begin as romance develops and the weird inhabitants of the castle go about their business.
Kath & Kimderella is very much what we are used to from these two ladies.
The plot isn't too deep but the fun and games are as expected.
