DVD Review: A Few Best men (+trailer)

Mixing alcohol, drugs and a wedding worked well for The Hangover franchise, so why not an Aussie version?

A Few Best Men has a real Hangover feel about it, except with a breathtaking Australian setting and a few British accents taking centre stage.

It all starts out romantically when Mia (Laura Brent) and David (Xavier Samuel) meet in Tokelau while travelling.

What begins as a holiday romance turns into something much more and before David knows it he is going to get married to Mia in the Blue Mountains.

First, he must head back to Britain to tell his mates what is going on and ensure that they make the trip Downunder with him.

David's mates are not exactly the type of guys you would take halfway around the world to meet your prospective in-laws.

But Tom, Graham and Luke eventually head to Australia for a party.

What makes matters worse is that Mia's father, Jim Ramme, is a senator with powerful friends - people he would be trying to impress during his daughter's wedding.

So David, whose nerves are building anyway, faces the additional dramas that seem to follow his "fun-loving" mates wherever they go.

Throw into the mix a prize ram, an angry, demented drug dealer, a stoned mother-in-law (Olivia Newton-John) and a lesbian sister-in-law (Rebel Wilson) and you have the ingredients for mayhem.
