School reunions are an odd thing.

Most of us have moved on from those days of youth but there is an curious desire to see what has happened to the students you grew up with.

And there is bound to be a shock or two.

I'll never forget a studious ex-schoolmate announcing at a reunion that he had been clear of cocaine for five years, all drugs for four years and alcohol for two years. You could have knocked me over with a feather.

The memories we have don't usually measure up to the reality of how people have moved on.

10 Years is the story of a typical reunion.

It is so easy to identify with the different stories.

Jake (Channing Tatum) and Mary (Rosario Dawson) were the dream high school couple.

Popular and good looking, they were inseparable until a family death saw them go their separate ways.

The reunion brings back memories and old feelings.

There's also a high school bully who wants to make amends, two mates who want to appear to be successful, the Barbie doll girl who wants the night to go perfectly, the good-time girl whose life has changed dramatically, the boy who is now a rock star and the invisible girl who no-one can remember from school days.

You can almost identify with every story shown.

10 Years is all about the dialogue and the interactions between the characters. On its trip down memory lane, you find yourself going along for your own ride.
