Good news for punk music fans — a desert storm is heading our way!

Authority Zero, from Arizona’s sun-baked skate scene, are rolling into New Zealand for the first time.

They are playing in Auckland and Wellington in March for two nights of fast riffs, big hooks and sweaty singalongs.

Authority Zero lead vocalist Jason DeVore said on social media the band was excited to play in New Zealand.

“We wanted to get out there for so long and we’re finally coming.”

For more than three decades, Authority Zero have been tearing up stages across the world with their mix of skate punk speed, reggae sway and a streak of Latin fire.

Their chemistry on stage is turning every track into a full-throttle ride you can’t help but get swept up in.

Thanks to Sticky Fingaz Tour Management, you could be winning a double pass to see them live in Auckland or Wellington.

Authority Zero have built a reputation for making every show high-energy, with their full-on punk rock that grabs you from the first chord.

Their music is described as urgent and melodic, full of riffs that hit like the desert sun and rhythms that carry the sway of reggae right into the heart of their skate-punk DNA.

Attendees are told to expect a night that’s raw, sweaty, and alive. It’s the kind of gig that makes you move, sing and lose track of time, making you feel like you were part of something.

Popular songs global audiences have been treated to at recent shows include: Get It Right, 12:34, When We Rule The World, Liberateducation, 21st Century Breakout, Revolution, Ollie Ollie Oxen Free, No Regrets, Taking on the World, One More Minute, Mexican Radio and Lift One Up.

Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering them for the first time, this is the kind of show you’ll remember long after the lights come up.
