It's been three years since we were seduced by the sinister, sexy minimalism of London trio Romy Madley-Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith, who live in a time and space of their own.

Masters of restraint, they have perfected the art of constructing songs from simple chord progressions, adding delicate guitar and keyboard ostinatos, then wrapping them with sparse, percussion-based backing.

The songs they produce are little insights about little things - a glance, a gesture, a murmured word.

This album - just like their first - may need to be played a couple of times before it seduces you, but it is a beautiful seduction.
