A man has been arrested following the death of a Te Puke man in May.

The 21-year-old Te Puke resident will appear in Tauranga District Court on July 19, following an investigation into the death of a 56-year-old man in a Te Puke park on May 11.

Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Turner said the man had been charged with reckless driving causing death.
