Updated: A plane has crashed Kaitemako South Rd in Tauranga this afternoon.
A police media communications spokesman said a small plane made an emergency landing about 3pm.
There was one pilot onboard the plane, he said.
The pilot, the sole occupant of the light replica vintage plane, sustained very
minor injuries.
The CAA has been notified.
