A member of a Whangarei "cannabis club" facing drugs charges has been given bail.

Sarah Gwenneth Gillgren, 28, was arrested during a police bust on the Daktory Whangarei in the Port Rd industrial area last week.

About 100 cannabis plants were allegedly seized from what police said was a significant indoor growing operation in a complex electrical set-up at a metal-clad, workshop-style premises.

Gillgren was given bail when she re-appeared in the Whangarei District Court today on one count each of selling cannabis and selling cannabis oil.

She is also jointly charged with Brian Thomas Borland, 60, of cultivating cannabis.
