Police have swooped on Greerton, Tauranga, today after a robbery of the Greerton Liquor store. Officers were busy talking with victims inside while others searched the streets for the offender.
Police are scouring Tauranga South after a robbery of a Greerton store this afternoon.
A police communications spokeswoman said they were looking for a person seen running from a liquor store.
It is understood the robbery took place at Greerton Liquor, on the corner of Cameron Rd and Chadwick St.
A reporter at the scene said there was a heavy police presence at the scene with many police officers on foot around the shopping centre, and other police cars being driven around the streets.
The reporter saw an ambulance parked near Greerton Liquor.
