A group of Northland seniors who want cannabis legalised are urging Grey Power chapters across the country to get behind their cause.

Members of Otamatea Grey Power spoke to the Advocate in April, saying they wanted "the choice of dying pain free" and that medicinal cannabis could be a way to achieve it.

They have now channelled their efforts into a petition with copies sent to all 32 Grey Power chapters.
