Thrills galore in Battle of the Dunes

More than 100 riders contested the second round of the Battle of the Dunes Motocross competition at Te Koporu sand track on Sunday, hosted by Maungaturoto Motorcycle Club.
Riders were chasing points  in the three-series competition, with prizemoney on offer for the top performers.
The third round of the series, hosted by Whangarei Motorcycle Club, is on Sunday at Ruakaka sand track. Advocate chief photographer John Stone recorded the action.
