Northland triathlete coach Sam Warriner has announced a new coach is set to come on board with her Sweat7 squad.
Seasoned ITU Elite athlete Clark Ellice will help with coaching and mentoring Warriner's squad.
Warriner said Clark, who is taking a break from racing to upskill himself in coaching, wouldadd to the squad and be helpful in particular to the young boys - which includes Northlanders Lois Poot and Aaron Greenhalgh.
"Clark is relatively new to coaching and hopes to learn and grow here.
"In the first instance he'll be working with my young boys in and around race day to mentor and teach them the skills and strategies needed to succeed in draft legal racing," Warriner said.
"I've got a lot of time for Clark, he's worked his way up through the system, had his ups and downs, but wants to give back to the sport here in New Zealand which I think is really important for our Ex-ITU elites.
