Rory Darkins was the star with the ball for the Northland under-19 cricket team which played Hamilton in Hamilton last weekend. Darkins took four wickets for just 19 runs to dismiss Hamilton for a total of 106. Northland reached 107 with the loss of just six wickets, C Page the side's top scorer with 52.
Dylan Jakicevich recorded a half century for Northland under-14 A in their match against Counties-Manukau A, Northland winning by three wickets.
Zak Wyatt scored 70 runs for the Northland Development team against Counties-Manukau Development while Adam Ogle and Jed Smith took three wickets apiece.
the Northland under 15 team scored two convincing wins against their Counties counterpart. Bradley Kneebone played well with the bat scoring 30 and 44 while Henry Cooper shone in the second game with both bat and ball hitting an unbeaten 49 and taking four wickets for 30 runs.

Hamilton under-19s 106 (C Botha 26; R Darkins 4/19, Jamie Kay 2/9) lost to Northland under-19s 107/6 (C Page 52, V Harypursat 10).
Northland Under 14 A 177 for seven wkts (Dylan Jakicevich 59, Liam O'Sullivan 30 n.o., James Wyatt 30, Thomas Ridgley 16, Jacob Cherrington 11) beat Counties-Manukau A 176 for eight wkts (Luke Williamson 43; Ben Smith 2/37).
Northland Development 172 (Zak Wyatt 70, Daniel Ridgley 23, Keeley Johnson 22) beat Counties-Manukau Development 149 (Adam Ogle 3/13, Jed Smith 3/40).
Counties-Manukau A 165 (Luke Williamson 58; David Armitt 2/24) beat Northland A 162 (Daniel Ridgley 42, Liam OSullivan 28, Fraser Seymour 15, Ben Smith 13, James Wyatt 12).
Northland Development 168 for eight wkts (Zak Wyatt 49, Keeley Johnson 33, Max Davis 19 n.o., Findlay Buchanan 18) beat Counties-Manukau Development 165 for seven wkts (Zak Wyatt 2/6, Sean Daniels 2/38).
Northland under-15 107 (B. Kneebone 30, A. Seymour 21) beat Counties 73 (T.Herman 3/11, C. Johnson 2/4).
Northland under 15 229/3 (J. Kose 71, H Cooper 49no, B.Kneebone 44, B.Hyde 40no) beat Counties 195/9 (H Cooper 4/30).
