This Sunday Kartsport Whangarei will celebrate the oncoming of the silly season with their annual Christmas meeting where drivers, club members and the public are invited to come along to bring in the Christmas cheer nice and early.
The club event will be open to the public for spectating atno charge and with refreshments available from the clubrooms. Drivers and onlookers will be treated to not only some exciting racing but events with a twist to the norm.
Kartsport Whangarei is situated at the Business Coaching New Zealand Raceway in Austin Rd, Maunu just a few kilometres past the Whangarei hospital turn left after Pompallier College.
As well as the regular aggressive competition, this fun-for-all day will see all senior classes thrown into the mix and on to the circuit together.
This will add an element of uncertainty as drivers who would not normally compete against each other will battle through the tight circuit.
In at least one heat of the day drivers will be forced to compete while carrying a balloon filled to the breaking point with water adding an hilarious element.
