"There is so much off-season work to do to try and take us to another level, on and off the field," he said, adding that he has committed to the team for three to four years.
"I have asked players to commit just the same. It's a 22 game league so we've got to keep players fit for 22 games."
Next week North Forcehost the promoted side Forrest Hill for what will be a fine game to finish the season.
Meanwhile, in local football the quarter-finals of the Stafford Choat take place today.
With all games kicking off at 2.30pm, Kamo will host Bream Bay United while Central Brown host Tikipunga.
The other two matches see Madhatters Green play FC Whangarei at William Fraser Park and Kerikeri Masters have a local derby as they face Kerikeri Bay Builders.
Also taking place this weekend is the Stafford Choat bowl and plate semifinals.
