Cold doesn't stop Tafu's win

DEATHLY CHILL: Bream Bay's Damian Tafu, 14, braved the cold at Waipu Cove, when he showed off his style in the Mid Winter Festival of Surfing, hosted by the Bream Bay Sliders at Waipu Cove on Sunday. Tafu, shown here doing "The Coffin" in the teams event, took out the under-18 boys' section, competing on small  waves, with an offshore breeze.
