A woman who was found by police in a wheelchair on State Highway 1 near Northland today has been reunited with her family.
Police earlier appealed for the public’s help to identify the woman, who was located on the major highway in Pakaraka at 2.30pm.
She had shoulder-length grey hairand was wearing a pink top.
Police said the woman may have come from Auckland.
