Northlanders raised a record amount last Daffodil Day with a total of $126,000. With a range of events planned across the region tomorrow, The Cancer Society is hoping for an even larger amount this year.

SATURDAY: Harcourts Daffodil Raceday at Ruakākā. The event is a fundraiser for the Cancer Society and the first smokefree event at the course. It will be attended by Gold Medal Winning Black Stick Anita McLaren, who will spend time in a high tea for more than 100 Northland cancer society volunteers. Gates open at 11am.
