A slice of Northland paradise that has left lasting memories for thousands of holidaymakers is for sale, with the Whatuwhiwhi Top 10 Holiday Park looking for new owners.
The 2.43ha freehold campsite, on Perehipe Beach on the Karikari Peninsula, has been a favoured spot for campers and holidaymakers for decades.
Whatuwhiwhi Top 10 Holiday Park is a popular base for fishing, golf and vineyards.
Carrington Estate golf course and Karikari Estate winery are minutes away, and the waters off the peninsula are famed for record striped marlin catches.
Whatuwhiwhi is the nearest Top 10 Holiday Park to Ninety Mile Beach Te Oneroa-a-Tohe and Cape Reinga, and within easy reach of the Bay of Islands, making it a gateway to some of the country’s top natural attractions.

It is the latest Far North holiday park to sell after Hihi Beach Holiday Park and Ahipara Holiday Park were taken over by new owners in 2024.
The Whatuwhiwhi sale comes as New Zealand’s holiday park sector undergoes a sharp recovery, with 2025 marking the strongest rebound since borders reopened after Covid-19. The sector now accounts for around a quarter of all commercial guest nights nationwide.
The business has operated for more than three decades, evolving from a family-run coastal campground into a significant regional tourism operation with a wide mix of accommodation types.
