Seafood and great sounds, possibly the perfect start to summer.

And there will be plenty of both on offer at the Marsden Cove Seafood Festival tomorrow.

A range of top wineries and craft beer makers will have their wares on offer to compliment the wide variety of seafood at the festival, which opens at 11am and runs until 7pm.

A stellar line up of national and local music is also on the menu, with Tiki Taane, Che Fu and Annie Crummer set to perform with several local bands also taking to the stage.

Festivalgoers will also be able to get some pointers from celebrity chef demonstrations, or hang out with the family in the designated kids zone- Marsden Cove Seafood Festival really does have something for everyone.

The dedicated kids zone will keep even the busiest of children occupied for the whole day, with everything from carousels to off-road racing carts. No need to worry about fussy eaters either, as the food truck alley will have all the 'traditional' festival food essentials covered.

The festival is at Marsden Cove Marina, Rauiri Drive, One Tree Point, Ruakaka, Bream Bay.

It's an all ages event, with tickets $49 for adults and $10 for children.
