The Blues have touched base with Whangarei's youth ahead of their warm-up match against the Northland Barbarians.
Seven of the Blues squad went to Whangarei Youth Space to talk with the young people about different future aspirations.
Hoani Matenga, Rene Ranger, Tevita Li, Kara Pryor, Matt Moulds, Namatahi Waa andTanerau Latimer took time from training for an important cause.
Moulds, who is a Northland local, said it was good to come back home and be out in public.
