The overall winners of this year's regional business award have managed to score a hat-trick, also scooping awards for innovation and excellence as a large business.
Whangarei-based steel construction company Donovan Group NZ won the Supreme 2015 Westpac Northland Business of the Year - they also won the Eroad Excellencein Business (Large Business) Award and the Northland Inc Innovation Award.
The 2015 Westpac Northland Business Excellence Awards were held at Forum North in Whangarei last night and celebrated entrants from 43 Northland businesses.
Meanwhile, the Northern Advocate Hall of Fame Award was presented to tourism champion Jeroen Jongejans from Tutukaka.
The people of Northland also had their favourites.
Kerikeri's Hone Heke Lodge was voted More FM Customer's Choice Service Provider, while Whangarei's Cuppacakes Northland scooped the More FM Customers' Choice Retail Provider.
