Whangarei deserves better economic and community development.

Values of fairness and caring for everyone in the community are the "why" and "how" I will be guided by to make Whangarei better.

We deserve a government which takes its responsibilities towards people seriously and ensures sufficient resourcing to help communities thrive. We need a change!

Our plan starts with good, well-paying jobs, affordable housing, and properly-funded core public services like health and education.

Sadly there is homelessness here, children unable to learn properly at school because they are hungry, or have been traumatised through abuse, many people unable to access good health care, and there has been a large increase in crime in recent years.

I know that we can do better than this and have positive plans to implement Labour's policies to benefit you. Or do you still want to be taken for granted?

My extensive relationships and experience with Whangarei businesses mean that I am able to drive economic development so that businesses can contribute more to our community.

My long record of community leadership in Whangarei demonstrates my ability and commitment to you.

I have been successfully advocating with the Labour Leadership for improved rail services in the north, resourcing to clean up our waterways, and to reduce the violence in our streets.

I have been talking and listening to people in education, housing and health services about what is needed to improve these facilities in Whangarei.

Positive leadership means communicating the path for a better future, an improved environment, broader prosperity for all which leads to better health, more fulfilment in life, and less violence.
