Police are appealing for information after a man was found dead in unexplained circumstances at a rural Far North property on Sunday.

Officers were called to a Wekaweka Rd property in Waimamaku about 8.45pm.

Northland CIB Detective Senior Sergeant Christan Fouhy said the circumstances surrounding the man’s death were being treated as unexplained.

A post-mortem examination will take place today.

The property where the man was found dead is for sale.
