TRUCK MECHANIC REQUIRED & WORKSHOP FOREMAN/MECHANIC

TRUCK MECHANIC

A Bay of Islands-based earthmoving and trucking company requires a full-time Mechanic to carry out maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks/machinery.

Applicant will have to have at least 5 years experience in truck-and-trailer repair work and be able to work in a team environment.

Applicant will also meet the following:
Trade Certified;
Drug and Alcohol free;
Be physically fit;
Have minimum Class 4 licence - Class 5 preferred;
Able to work in team environment, but also take direction from Management;
Able to record paper work accurately.

WORKSHOP FOREMAN/MECHANIC

We are also looking for someone to take on the challenge of running an in-house workshop while still performing mechanical repairs alongside a team of up to 6 staff.

Applicant will also meet the following:
Qualified Diesel Mechanic;
Truck-and-trailer experience;
Pro-active Health & Safety commitments;
Be Drug and Alcohol free;
Be physically fit;
Be a team player able to manage and get along with staff;
Class 4 licence minimum - Class 5 preferable;
Able to implement and maintain good maintenance systems;
Proactive at keeping accurate computer records of all work performed.
