The boys team from Tikipunga High School and the Whangārei Girls' High School A team emerged the victors at the ASB Northland secondary school sports association senior boys and girls volleyball finals at ASB Stadium this week.

Tikipunga High School almost completed the double with the girl's team falling to WGHS in the final. The overall rankings from the tournament will be the team's Northland ranking at the national volleyball tournament next week in Palmerston North.
