Tennis: Northland senior team retain Timperley Cup

The successful Northland Tennis Seniors team which reclaimed then retained the Timperley Cup.

The Northland Tennis Seniors team is celebrating after first reclaiming the Timperley Cup then retaining it.

The cup is competed for by Northland, North Harbour and Lower Northland seniors.
The Northland seniors team first reclaimed the Timperley Cup from North Harbour Seniors on June 24 at Forrest Hill by 36 sets to 26 sets.

Then they retained the cup on Sunday when they defeated Lower North Seniors at Warkworth by 28 matches to 4 matches with 4 draws.

Matches were played to time of 40 minutes.
