The Modern Māori Quartet.

The Modern Māori Quartet will visit a whopping 20 town and cities on their month-long nationwide That's Us! album tour.

The album's release on September 15 will be followed by the first show of the tour at Putaruru's Plaza on Saturday September 16.

Other stops will include Napier, Whanganui, Rotorua, Whangarei and many more, with the final show in Whakatane on October 15.

Kiwi music legend Annie Crummer will be joining Maaka, Francis, Matariki and James on the tour.

The group this week release Don't Fall In Love, the fourth single from the forthcoming album.

"It's our Motown-inspired, soulful, Sam Cooke-styled song that will cut straight to your heart and make you laugh at the same time," the group said in a statement.

Fat Freddy's Drop.

Fat Freddy's Drop have announced a string of summer concerts, including a Villa Maria show in Auckland on January 20 with internationals Hiatus Coyote from Melbourne and Norman Jay MBE from London.

The band play Rhythm & Alps in Wanaka on New Year's Eve before heading to Kerikeri, Christchurch, Auckland and Havelock North.

Other acts on stage will include Ladi 6 in Kerikeri, The Nudge in Havelock North and Salmonella Dub playing their 25th anniversary concert in Christchurch with FFD in support.

Tour songs will include tracks from their upcoming new album.

Dunedin's Summer Thieves have released their debut album Warped, produced by Tiki Taane, and are set to announce details of their first headline tour.

The band, who met at Kings High School, have supported acts including Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Sticky Fingers, Peking Duk and Hermitude, and have played alongside Six60, Katchafire and Sons of Zion.

Kings has announced his debut album.

Chapter One, self-produced by Kingdon Chapple-Wilson, is set for release later this year.

Its lead single We'll Never Know is due early in September.

Kings, whose massive hit Don't Worry 'Bout It was nominated for a Silver Scroll, says it was only right he do the entire project the way he preaches.

"From directing the music videos to designing the cover art, everything is written, produced, mixed, and mastered the way I intended, with the hope that it encourages YOU to do the same thing."

The album will be released independently by Kings in partnership with digital music distributors DRM NZ.

Sid Diamond is back with a new single. Problems features guest vocals from Donell Lewis and Mikey Dam with beats from SickDrumz.

Formerly known as Young Sid, Diamond made his name with Smashproof, who had a major hit alongside Gin Wigmore with Brother.
