Wellington indie-folk duo Grawlixes are touring the country on the back of their debut album Set Free.

The pair, Robin Cederman and Penelope Esplin, match lovely boy-girl harmonies with often melancholy, self-deprecating lyrics.

Check out the very short, but sweet clip for the title track.

The album is out Friday, July 7, coinciding with the first gig at the Raumati Social Club.

The Bads have announced the support acts for their New Zealand tour which begins this week.

Hello Sailor's Harry Lyon will perform at Friday's Tuning Fork gig, and Tim and Harper Finn will join the Bads onstage during their set.

Country singer Kendall Elise joins the line-up for the Hamilton concert at the Nivara Lounge on July 13, while Holly Jane Ewens will appear at Paekakariki's St Peter's Village Hall on July 15.

EB and Sparrow are lined up for Wellington's Third Eye on July 16, while Flip Grater and Terrible Sons will support The Bads at Christchurch's Blue Smoke on July 20.

Brendan and Alison Turner play Whangarei's Old Stone Butter Factory with The Bads on August 26.

The Bads also have a Sitting Room Session at Napier's The Old Mill on July 14.

Their album Losing Heroes is released this Friday.

Meanwhile, the Miltones, who are in the middle of a national tour, are proving so popular their upcoming Auckland gig has been moved to a bigger venue. The band will now play the Tuning Fork on July 22. Tickets already purchased will be valid at the new venue.

Aldous Harding has announced concerts in Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland in November and December.

Harding and her band will be showcasing music from her second album Party.

She'll be supported by Martin Phillipps of The Chills.

Tickets for the shows go on sale on Friday, July 7 at midday, with presales available for Spark and My Live Nation customers.

Dunedin band Summer Thieves have released the follow-up to their debut single Coast Roads.

No Shadow comes from their debut album Warped, out July 31.

The band describe themselves as a melting pot of reggae, hip-hop, rock, and funk.
