In a social media statement, the relocation company Repiles and Relocatables LTD confirmed that the incident happened during “one of their moves.”
They said their company has been operating for over eight years and they do at least three weekly moves.
“It is an unfortunate chain of events involving road issues, and trailer tyres, resulting in the load slipping.
“RNR sincerely apologises for any delays caused by this unforeseen and unfortunate accident,” they said.
The company added that they have swiftly acted to complete all the permits and paperwork to get things resolved and hopefully have the road opened as “quickly as possible.”
Motorists are advised to expect delays if they are passing through. Diversions are in place at the intersections of Gibbons Rd and Redwood Ave.
