Whangarei's Rochelle Record is one fit mum.
So fit in fact, she took out the Masters division of the Fittest Mum competition and romped home to win all four of the workouts.
The 40-year-old, competing in four different workouts, romped home to finish first in all of the tasks.
The first was a lifting ladder, starting at 25kg and ending at 130kg, contestants had to either snatch, clean or dead lift the weights. The second involved a number of things like box jumps, skipping, and weightlifting.
The third competition involved 50 lunges as well as weightlifting, while the last one had competitors do front squats with weights, shoulder to overhead weights and exercise ball tossing.
Being a mum has been a huge help to Record, and coming from a driven family has spurred her on to do keep improving.
"We have a motto in my family of "there's no such thing as can't" so every time I felt like I wanted to quit or I couldn't do it, I thought of my kids," she said.
"Both of the kids are very goal driven. Tyler (Lansdowne, 24) is a rugby player and has played for Northland and Brodie (Record, 15) dances for the Palace so they're very driven.
"It was more like you couldn't quit. When you're a mother and you want to set an example for your kids, you can't quit. Even if you wanted to."

Her success in the Fittest Mum competition are the culmination of two years of blood, sweat and tears.
Record said she's come a long way since she started just over two years ago.
"A couple of years ago I had given up smoking - I was a very heavy smoker - and had taken up baking which is a bit weird but it kept my hands busy," she said.
"I had put on ten kilos and my knees disappeared one day and I was wondering "well where did they go?"
"One of my girlfriends brought me along to a Boost session and I'd always wanted to do a press-up on my toes. I had never been able to do one and that was my goal. And that got me hooked."
Record, at 164cm tall, weighed in at 73kg before losing 13kg. Now that she is competing, she has built her muscle and now is 68kg.
Record now trains three times a day for a total of two to three hours. She runs her Boost Fit class in the morning and follows that with a cardio and weightlifting session in the afternoon as well as a session to work on her weaknesses.
Record was well supported at the Fittest Mum competition in Auckland with a group of 15 from Boost Fit coming to support her.
"We are quite close knit because we're not that big. They don't want to see their trainer quit halfway through a workout so you have to keep pushing even if you don't want to," she laughed.
Record's eyes are now fixed on the upcoming CrossFit Open, a worldwide competition with over 300,000 entries.
This will be Record's third tilt at the Open.
"The first year I was in the top 100 in NZ in RX. I was competing in the Open Grade because there were no age grades then," she said.
"Last year I was 51st which is pretty good for an old person.
"This year I'll be in the Masters division so I'm hoping to do well in there. They release a work-out every Thursday starting at the end of February and you have until the following Monday to submit your score.
