Discounted entries close this Sunday for the annual Chilltech Beach 2 Basin Run/Walk which takes place next month.
The popular event is expected to attract around 2000 participants who will take to the 5.7km or 9km courses from Onerahi to the Whangarei Town Basin.
This is the first event inthe 2014 Sport Northland Run/Walk Series, and has the added bonus that every Northland adult who competes will go into the draw to win a Fiat 500 car donated by Pacific Motor Group. It will be given away following the Kerikeri Half Marathon in November.
Sport Northland's events team leader Hayley Overton said Sport Northland hoped there would be some competitors who will dress up for a fun time.
Enter at www.runwalkseries.co.nz or pick up an entry form at Sport Northland or ASB Banks. Entries close on February 26. No entries accepted on the day.
