A police officer at the scene of a car accident on SH1, near Toetoe Rd, south of Whangārei, this afternoon.
Police have been called to a crash just south of Whangārei.
One car was involved and has ended up off State Highway One in a ditch near Toetoe Rd.
The crash happened about 12.30pm and has not blocked the Highway and traffic is flowing in both directions. A dog handler
was also called to the scene.
No further details were available at this stage.
Meanwhile, SH1 is closed over the Brynderwyn Hills after a petrol tanker and car collided on the south side of the hills this morning.
