A picnic with families, a visit to Kelvin Davis' marae, and a public breakfast.

These are just some of the things Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will get up to during her five days in Northland.

Ms Ardern arrives in Waitangi today and will return to Wellington on Waitangi Day after spending the morning in the Bay of Islands.

While some events on her itinerary are open to the public, others are private.
