Passenger cut free from intersection collision

A front seat passenger had to cut free by firefighters following a crash involving at least three cars in Whangarei this morning.

St John medical officers worked on the patient while they were being freed from the car. The crash happened just before 8am at the intersection of Western Hills Dr and Kamo Rd.

Police were at the scene directing the traffic and the road has now been cleared and all lanes are open
