A ute has rolled south of Whangarei.
A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said a crew from Whangarei was called to State Highway 1 at Oakleigh around 7.25am and extricated one person using rescue tools.
A Hato Hone St John spokesman said one person was taken to WhangareiHospital in a moderate condition.
