Taniwha fans will be seeing purple when the team take the field against Manawatu.
The players will be sporting purple socks while the goalpost pads will be dressed in purple wraps.
The game, which kicks off at 5.35pm tomorrow at Northland Events Centre is raising awareness and funds for AlzheimersNorthland.
Alzheimers Northland chief executive Kevin Salmon said there will also be banners around the ground and volunteers dressed in purple collecting donations.
Tickets to a Alzheimers Northland corporate box have been sold, where people can watch the game and take part in a Q and A session with All Black legend Buck Shelford.
The Sky commentary team had been given some information to promote the service for those watching at home.

Alzheimers Northland and Northland Rugby Union announced earlier in the year they were joining forces.
Salmon said the relationship with NRU was around fitness, wellbeing and promoting healthy lifestyles.
This season the charity has spoken to the Taniwha players about Alzheimers and the work the charity does.
Salmon said he asked the 30 players in the room if they knew someone with memory loss and 20 of them put their hands up.
"They all asked questions about how to get help, they engaged and connected on a personal level."
Northland Rugby Union commercial and marketing manager Pat Stevens said the Alzheimers logo will be put in the charity patch spot on the back of the Taniwha jersey next season.
"Partnering with Alzheimers Northland gives them an opportunity to get their message out more and more," Stevens said.
He said almost everyone had some sort of connection with Alzheimers, and the game will raise the awareness of the charity.
This isn't a one-off day, with plans to hold a similar event in coming seasons.
"Next year we're hoping they'll have a purple uniform," Salmon said.
He said Alzheimers Northland has 600 clients in Northland, with 300 new clients every year.
The charity provides free information and support for all people affected by dementia.
