Nelly Naiker with NZME sales and events co-ordinator Northland Leanne Broderson and the grand prize pack he won valued at more than $6300.

This year's NZME Northland Home Show was a huge success and will be repeated again in 2018.

More than 9000 people went through the doors during the three-day annual show held at the Kensington ASB Leisure Centre in Whangarei from September 29-October 1.

NZME sales and events co-ordinator Northland Leanne Broderson said the attendance was excellent with visitors viewing a total of 164 stands and about 145 exhibitors showcasing everything from kitchens, spas, pools, solar panels, security, art, paint and health products.

The show was a winner for all concerned especially the exhibitors who had a number of exceptional revenue outcomes and success stories, she said.

The winner of the popular $6300 passport card giveaway prize pack was Nelly Naiker of Whangarei. Mr Naiker had to complete a passport card during the Home Show and have it stamped by 28 participating exhibitors to go into the draw to win.

There were many exhibitors who also had their own special promotions on individual stands, she said.

Ms Broderson said dates were yet to be confirmed for the 2018 show but it was expected to be held on the same last weekend of September as this year, which works well with the school holidays.
