Sixteen Northland players travelled to Pukekohe to contest the Geyserland Trophy on April 6 against Rotorua, Counties Manukau and North Harbour.

Winners were Counties Manukau with 91 points, 2nd - North Harbour: 82 points, 3rd - Northland: 76 points, 4th - Rotorua: 71 points

Top scorers for Northland - Chris Watson, Dallas Campbell -12 points, Pauline McKinley - 11 points, George Walker, Inez Bunting, John Colman - 10 points.

NZ Mixed Pairs sponsored by Tikipunga Fresh Foods (April 7)

1st - Chris Watson and Judy Bethell, 2nd Jeremy and Jan Bartleet, 3rd Marcel Ruedi and Cathy Cole, 4th Don Simpson and Kia Ward.
