Northland schools battle on the court ahead of volleyball finals

Whangārei Girls High and Tikipunga High schools were the big winners at the ASB Northland Secondary School Sports Association volleyball preliminary competition at ASB Stadium in Whangārei on Wednesday and Thursday.

WGHS took out the senior girls division one on Wednesday before Tikipunga won both division one and two in the senior boys competition on Thursday.

The Division one teams and those who were first and second in division two will return for the finals on Tuesday, March 19.
