Correction
An article printed in December 19’s Northern Advocate titled, ‘Alma G gets a new lease of life’ contained two errors. The headline referred to Alma G but in fact the boat’s name is Alma G II. The article stated that the Alma G II arrived at the boatyard of Waitemātā Woodies, who contacted Craig McInnes of CMC Design and the refurbishment began in earnest. Instead, the Alma G II was picked up from the Pokeno backyard by JJ Klinac of Exclusive Boat Haulage, Kerikeri, in early April 2023 and transported to the CMC shed in Ōpua where she remained for the duration of the restoration until relaunch in late November this year. We apologise for the errors.
