More than 6000 families across New Zealand will receive essential support these holidays with the delivery of $1.4 million worth of food from KidsCan. The food packs are being offered to the families of every child the charity supports through its 203 partner early childhood centres, including those in Northland. The initiative was made possible thanks to the generous support of philanthropists Graeme and Robyn Hart. It is the first time KidsCan has had the funding to provide food support to families during the holidays, with the charity typically providing support during the school term.
