Horahora's premier reserve netball side is eyeing promotion into the top grade this coming weekend.

With only one round to play to complete the round robin in each grade, rankings are becoming clearer.

Active Refrigeration Fideliter1 have all but guaranteed their position at the top of the premier grade after winning both games last Friday by significant margins.

This was despite Manawanui White having a four-point half time lead over the Fideliter side.

Some strong words by Fideliter coach Alb Baker at half time led to them taking control of the game, restricting Manawanui to only three goals, and winning the game comfortably 23-15.

In the premier reserve grade, results have not always been as expected, but the Horahora team is rising to the top of the division and, barring any major upsets this weekend, should be promoted to the premier grade.

It would be the first time in a several years that Horahora has had a team in this grade, so their inclusion will bring a slightly different composition and interest to that competition should they be promoted.
